I had a walk down to Mere Sands with my Mum and Dad tonight after we had been told from a trustworthy source that "Every night without doubt, the kingfisher comes to this spot between 5-6pm" fantastic we though another opportunity to photograph this beautiful bird. So we went down and sat there from 5 O'clock till just gone 6 and nothing, a bullfinch made its usual appearance at 5:30 with With Long Tailed tit and Herons dropping in from time to time but defiantly no Kingfisher...Even though we didn't get the desired quarry, I managed to get a few pics. on the way around so here they are:-

Bull Finch
Heron
