Not Quite Dracula...

I recently had some inspiration after looking on one of the blogs that I follow, I saw a picture of a Blood sucker as most people call them or "Rhagonycha fulva" if you want to me technical but I challenge anyone to try and pronounce it, colse up these insects have very distinct little faces and can produce an effective picture if all goes well. Although I struggled due to the face I have no macro lens, I like to think that at ,lease one might have turned out ok, Lets see what you think:-

Buzz Off And Don't "BEE" Awkward...

....

Well as you probably guessed, I decided to try and do some Bee photography yesterday as it was such a glorious day, the sun was shining and the bees were buzzing. As this year the Bees are in such decline, my Mum decided that she would replant the whole garden with all kinds of weird, wonderful and colourful flowers but the one area which they liked the best was a large Lavender plant in our front garden, ever time I come home I have a quick Scan to see how they are doing, and I was delighted the other day to find five different types of Bee enjoying this plants resources, also on the plant I found numerous spider, wasps and three different butterflies but I'll leave then for another blog...

....

Photography....

Okay, so I have decided to take different route with my sigh, rather than just been a blog sight, I am going to change it into more of a photography sight, rather than having lots of different pictures of Birds, Moths, Butterflies and insects, I will go out to take pictures of a more specific selection of creatures and try and get good pictures of them.

....

So here We go, I didn't have much time to go out last week so I was house sitting, so I decided to spend a lot in the garden photographing everyday creatures that so many people take for advantage and don't appreciate what they do for the ecosystem and even for our lives and this is what I started:-

These flight shots were some of the hardest pictures that I have had to take,

they could be better but I like to think that

they ain't to bad

....

Insects moths and butterflies...

So here we go, Insects, Moths and Butterflies... I hope that you enjoy them, all these pics where taken on a walk around Marshsides sandplant not, with my main quarry being the Six Spot Burnet Moth, such a beautiful moth that I can't stop taking pictures of:-

A Funny Old Week...

Well first of all I'd like to introduce my self as even I've forgotten who I am... Sorry for the lack of posts recently but I have been busy with the holiday and then last week My sister got Married, so that took a lot of organising, writing my best man speech and practising it religiously the night before, I did managed to get out a few times but I didn't have time to post up the news, so here we go, I'll post up two different blogs, one showing birds and animals and one showing insects moths and butterflies...
